Hello and welcome! I'm Janae, the dedicated owner and licensed general contractor behind Davne Projects. Over the past decade, I've built a career in the construction and general contracting industry. It's my pleasure to provide a comprehensive, client-focused approach to every project I undertake.
My journey in this field began during my service in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I mastered a variety of skills including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and welding, while also managing intricate projects under challenging conditions. The discipline, tenacity, and dedication I cultivated during my service continue to drive my work ethos today.
After transitioning from the Coast Guard, I stepped into the world of construction, taking on a role as a Project Manager for a highly-regarded home renovation company. This period of my career allowed me to finesse my project coordination skills, ensuring every renovation was completed to the highest standards and within the agreed timelines.
More recently, I served as a Construction Manager for a custom home builder, supervising comprehensive home builds from the foundation to the finishing touches. This experience deepened my understanding of all stages of home construction and reinforced my commitment to quality and detail.
Four years ago, I established Davne Projects, a testament to my passion for creating beautiful and functional homes. As the sole employee, I manage a team preferred subcontractors, offering a broad spectrum of services tailored to each client's unique needs.
As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, I bring a distinctive perspective to the table. I am not just passionate about delivering top-notch projects, but also about ensuring every client feels understood and valued throughout our collaboration.
